They offer disproportionately low pay compared not only to industry standards but also employee skill levels. Management often makes promises they seem to have no intention of fulfilling and I even suspect them of intentional deception sometimes. The hours were also abysmal. Work/life balance was non-existent.

The people that I worked with are all very knowledgeable and dedicated. They were friendly and there was a minimum of office politics and backbiting. I met many very skilled experts in their fields that were happy to share their knowledge.

Management is seriously dysfunctional. There were reorganizations simply for the sake of reorganizing. Their processes were virtually non-extant. Senior management did not empower staff to perform their job functions, as they didn't allow independent decision making, As for bonuses and salary increases, they were only for those ont the "favorite" list as there was no process for regular review.
