Pros

None, was lied to during the interview process and told my pay would be the same as seasoned agents out the gate.

Cons

Someone reached out to me to leave my current job to join Chapter. When I gave them an honest answer on not putting people on supplement plans they can’t afford, they didn’t like it. They just want the retention on those supps. CEO is a tech guy who seems to not know anything about Medicare in general. People Director also has no experience in Medicare and was not very “people” oriented at all. They want it to seem like they’re doing me a favor by interviewing me. Save yourself the effort.

Pros

Member first focus. We can recommend any and every plan on the market. If we can’t write the carrier, we still get paid a commission for doing the right thing by the member. Fantastic lead quality. No more “grocery card” or “you called me!” leads. Great coworkers with similar values and mindset. Working at home can be isolating. Management cares about us bonding as a team. We get a budget monthly to bond with coworkers and are flown out often for company get togethers and an annual retreat.

Cons

Since it’s a startup, there’s lots of required overtime during AEP which isn’t necessarily a bad thing.

Pros

Only the best of the best survive and get paid well. The rest get average leads and most with no opportunity.

Cons

They nonstop hire and fire lower preforming agents even though those same agents would be doing well. Awful AEP hours of mandatory 12 hour shifts.
