Pros

LOL, i sat here staring at this window wondering what i could enter. They are big, and have the backing of the mothership in Europe but CapGem Gov solutions is more of a log raft than a sturdy ship. For the two years i was there the upper management shuffled in and out and none of the senior leadership left any tangible platform for success behind. Wait, pros..... they are not micro managers, they do leave you to your tasks and do not tend to have meaningless weekly meetings so that was cool. Pay was commensurate or below corporate averages for my position and they do have a great vacation policy, there it is, they do offer a lot of time off.

Cons

Weak corporate structure. LIttle incentives for advancement. Poor infrastructure support. Seems to be a culture of looking out for one's self. They routinely promise bonuses and somehow justify their inability to actually pay them out. As a consultant there is always the "dual boss" atmosphere; answering to capgem boss and client boss and often they dont communicate amongst themselves. I'd pass.

Pros

Great atmosphere from day to day employees/ coworkers Nice restrooms… Great break rooms, Free drinks and snacks, as this used to be a vending machine until it started costing money.. especially the Austin office. Great receptionist, she was amazing always made sure every employee felt welcomed and ready to work

Cons

Terrible management, I mean seriously it’s a joke, you would think corporate America has been shaped slightly different but Jeesh, the Austin office is of two demographics, As this company is really only 2 demographics sadly that is what is pushed on the US side, aside from developers whom are wonderful from the UK house.
