Pros
Encourages people to shape and drive own development, supported by a great network of people, both through formal line management and mentoring structures and informal coaching. A great portfolio of clients, giving people the opportunity to work with leading brands in their market or capability area Size - not too big, not too small. A perfect balance for someone who wants to feel part of a large global organisation, with the intimacy of a small firm (Capgemini Consulting UK is about 450 people, Capgemini globally is 140000!) Global footprint and strong French heritage - this does permeate through the culture and the opportunities to work with counterparts on the continent and globally are there if you want them Ambitious and intelligent group of people, without a nasty competitive/back stabbing culture
Cons
As with most consulting firms, regular travel and working away from home is part and parcel of the role. The firm does encourage people to be back in London for Thursday nights and then in the London office on Fridays, but sometimes the realities of client projects get in the way of this.
