Good for gaining experience, bad if you already have it. - Architect Capgemini Employee Review

Pros

There are still some very talented people, many of who have been at Cap for a long time. Culturally it's a great place to work and if you are looking to gain experience on a range of large accounts then it's better than any of the other large consultancies. Technically there are some great, very helpful, people delivering projects despite the management in a lot of cases. Training facility in France is excellent if you can get there.

Cons

A lot of good people are leaving. No inflation pay rises for several years and management pushing for increased profits. Many large accounts seem badly run which is frustrating. Promotion above senior technical level means taking on internal management and makes you more expensive (and less attractive) to projects so if you want to deliver there is a limit to how high you can progress.
