Pros

-20 days leave -not much really

Cons

-Exposure limited to one client- -Management/resourcing/HR tend to mislead by omission, you will be taken advantage of if you seem like an easy target. Incompetent ops staff. Don’t get me started on the Indian team -very hierarchical, you’re only treated as a person if you’re an expat, principal consultant and above -caliber of consultants not on par with their titles. - very political, people will throw you under the bus just to look good, very petty culture -Take the good reviews with a grain of salt. I was asked to write a review in my first week of joining to boost the scores

Capco Response

Thank you for sharing your feedback, however we are disappointed to read your comments. As you will be aware, we have a new leader in our Hong Kong business who has extensive experience of both Capco and the industry. He recently shared his strategy and vision with employees, which includes expanding into new areas and clients, while maintaining a focus on our key clients. He also set out a clear agenda around our people, including more diverse career and learning and development opportunities, along with a commitment to greater communication and transparency around the region’s vision and goals among other things. I would encourage employees to take the time to read through this update, and if there are any questions or suggestions to reach out to a member of the leadership team, Mar Alvarez, APAC HR Lead or David Heffernan, Global HR Lead. You will find that the team is very open to hearing your suggestions and feedback.

Pros

- Good work-life balance - Nice people - Cool office (Empire State Building)

Cons

- Low raises + bonuses (promotions are highly political/based on who you know) - Low mobility on certain projects - Difficult to get involved in planning/helping with community events (part of performance review) - Leadership positions competitive rates as our differentiator (i.e., firm competes on cost rather than on technical depth/expertise relative to peer firms)
