Pros

They may pay you and other people work there.

Cons

CACI cut my pay during the pandemic illegally, despite us still earning them lots of money, them furloughing many staff, and having 8 figures £ in the bank. The CEO was more concerned by his Ocado delivery than the health and welfare of his staff, made clear during his pandemic briefings, which included sexist jokes about women being sex trafficked. They then cut my sick pay during the pandemic too because I took sick leave. They were intrusive and unpleasant about my medical problems, but given I've directly heard the Vice President gossip about others' issues (stress and crying in public) it would be foolish to tell her anything more than the minimum. They threatened legal action to multiple staff who leave, if you do not tell them where they are going. Software developers who started as graduates 5 years ago earn less now than when they started, when adjusted for inflation, so either they pay badly or are very poor at developing their staff. I think both are the case. They do not understand statutory laws, and attempted to make me work beyond my contracted notice period. I thought they were trying to intimidate me so I ignored this, but they are so incompetent they ended up putting me on gardening leave and paying me for the additional time. I was speechless and laughing at the free money. Their management of customers is transactional and poor so they struggle to grow. I recently ran into a former customer of mine from my time at CACI on a train, and they begged me to get back in touch because they cannot get what they want from them, except invoices and unintelligent interpretation of the customers business problems. I will take great pleasure in them losing this multimillion pound account to me.
