Supportive culture with room for improvement
Pros
Overall, the company had a positive culture with good flexibility and understanding around personal commitments. That said, the experience was very dependent on your team and line manager. There were regular social events, which were enjoyable, although the variety could have been better. Again, this tended to vary between departments.
Cons
Salary was the biggest downside, as I felt it was below the market rate for similar roles. Some teams could be quite cliquey, and there is room for improvement in diversity across certain departments. The pace could be very fast at times, with planning and organisation occasionally lacking. I also would have liked to see more investment in technical development beyond the basics. Office amenities and benefits could be stronger to encourage more people into the office.
