Pros
The BDR role is a tremendous place to being your sales career - It involves prospecting, cold calling and finding ways to set the meeting. The BDS role consists of conducting the meetings, you seek to discover solutions that will help the clients company. I accepted the job knowing that I wouldn't be at Buildertrend for more than a couple years and I thought it was a great starting point in my career. I see a lot of reviews that complain about the call count but in reality if you're able to make 100+ calls a day while hitting your goals at Buildertrend, it will really set up you for success if you decide to leave and take another sales job. Great company with great point, I'd recommend it it to anyone beginning their sales career.
Cons
Pay is low, but the experience is priceless. You'll meet great people and learn about sales. The culture is great, but the fact that some people on your team only play ping pong orhang out at the putting green all day can be annoying.
