Stay far far away from this company unless micromanagement is your love language because that’s all they know. - Account Executive Bravo Store Systems Employee Review

Pros

Working with people to provide them with a solution to their businesses needs is truly rewarding. The people who do the day to day to make Bravo successful are worth their weight in gold and then some. The leadership team is a joke at best, and wouldn’t be in the positions they are today without being a friend of the CEO, or the Founders daughter.

Cons

The leadership particularly the CEO and the way the company conducts business raise serious concerns. If you’re looking for a company where you can grow long-term, this is not it. The organization often acts as its own worst enemy when it comes to sustainable growth and maintaining profitability due to making emotional decisions and not sound decisions with any thought behind it. You bought Pawnmaster to lie to your customers saying you wouldn’t sunset and then sunset the product forcing customers to come to Bravo whether they wanted to or not. This was a terrible business decision as the vast majority of your amazing CEO’s decisions are. Decisions such as “scaling back” employees and limiting their earning potential appear to be driven more by internal justification and failure to forecast properly than sound business strategy. This is especially evident in the handling of product changes, including sunsetting Pawnmaster and misjudging how many customers would be willing to transition to Bravo. Efforts to pressure clients into adopting a system they neither wanted nor valued have only compounded the issue and caused bottom line problems forcing you to fire staff because planning/forecasting isn’t a strong suit of your leadership team. Additionally, compensation practices are questionable. For example, rewarding employees with “cash” incentives that are actually Amazon gift cards undermines both morale and professionalism.

Pros

Things were great at first. There was amazing culture, it was fun and engaging working online and I enjoyed showing up to work Monday morning. At the time my management and team were amazing (none of them are there anymore).

Cons

It all went downhill fast. Leadership jumped on the AI hype way too aggressively and tried to replace proven processes with BS AI workflows. Instead of using AI to support teams, it felt like they were trying to replace people and structure (and failing at it). They started firing people left and right without backfilling roles, which destabilized teams and crushed morale. Workloads got dumped on whoever was left, and there was clear favoritism toward certain teams while others were neglected. Leadership was reactive and disorganized, with poor communication and constant direction changes. Layoffs were cold and abrupt, with pressure to sign aggressive severance docs immediately. I’ve spoken to multiple former employees and freelancers who had the same experience. Overall, zero stability and no psychological safety. You’re always waiting for the next shoe to drop.
