Pros

The bright spots here are worth mentioning. The people you work alongside day-to-day are genuinely good — collaborative, supportive, and talented. It's the kind of team that makes the hard days bearable. The benefits package includes solid health insurance, which is not something to take for granted. And the tech stack is modern and well-chosen — at least someone made good decisions there. And the software itself is a great platform.

Cons

Proceed with extreme caution if you're considering joining this company. Strategy changes constantly — leadership never waits to see if one approach works before scrapping it for the next thing. There's no patience, no learning curve, just endless pivots that make it impossible to build any real momentum. Management makes decisions that directly affect your ability to perform and then fails to communicate those decisions to the people on the ground. You find out when it's already too late. The micromanaging is out of control. You were hired as a professional — but you won't be treated like one. Management hovers over every move, and daily meetings are mandatory time-wasters that accomplish nothing. The morale on the sales team is at an all time low. The rules are different depending on who you are. Some people are held to strict standards; others aren't. Some can sell two vertices - others, only one. The KPI's vary per rep as well. There's no consistency and no accountability for it. When colleagues were caught trying to steal other rep's clients, management was informed and did absolutely nothing. Raises were promised and employees were told they would be based on the company's health. As far as I'm aware, no one in sales received a raise. Makes one wonder about the 'company's health'. The pay is already below market value for a SaaS company with its own IP. In the past six months, there have been multiple firings with the roles not being filled, and leadership's response has been to tell the remaining team that hitting impossible sales numbers is necessary just 'to keep the lights on.' That kind of messaging breeds fear, not performance. The Executives operate in an echo chamber. They surround themselves with yes-men, and if you dare to question a decision — even professionally — your job is in jeopardy. Honest feedback & questioning management is not welcome here. The final straw for many: when the company acquired a competitor, the Executives promised not to sunset their software. Now, that software sunset is now entering its final stages. When leadership breaks explicit promises, there is nothing left to stand on. Talented people deserve better than this environment. Maybe that's why numerous employees are looking for new jobs.

Pros

Things were great at first. There was amazing culture, it was fun and engaging working online and I enjoyed showing up to work Monday morning. At the time my management and team were amazing (none of them are there anymore).

Cons

It all went downhill fast. Leadership jumped on the AI hype way too aggressively and tried to replace proven processes with BS AI workflows. Instead of using AI to support teams, it felt like they were trying to replace people and structure (and failing at it). They started firing people left and right without backfilling roles, which destabilized teams and crushed morale. Workloads got dumped on whoever was left, and there was clear favoritism toward certain teams while others were neglected. Leadership was reactive and disorganized, with poor communication and constant direction changes. Layoffs were cold and abrupt, with pressure to sign aggressive severance docs immediately. I’ve spoken to multiple former employees and freelancers who had the same experience. Overall, zero stability and no psychological safety. You’re always waiting for the next shoe to drop.

Declining culture and employee-unfriendly policies

Pros

There are still some strong individuals and supportive direct managers, and the work can be engaging. The product is very robust and extremely useful.

Cons

The overall direction of the company has shifted in a concerning way. There have been layoffs and ongoing organizational changes that appear heavily focused on cost-cutting, often at the expense of both employees and customers. Morale has noticeably declined, and there is a growing lack of trust in leadership decisions. Turnover has also been significant. Notably, none of the individuals I interviewed with are still at the company, which speaks to the level of change and instability within the organization. These shifts are impacting the customer experience as well. Reduced staffing and increased workloads make it difficult to provide the level of service and support that customers expect. Teams are often stretched thin, which can lead to delays, inconsistent communication, and a reactive rather than proactive approach to customer needs. Additionally, employees are frequently expected to take on expanded responsibilities due to staffing changes without corresponding compensation adjustments. This contributes to burnout and reinforces the sense that employee contributions are not being adequately recognized. Offboarding practices can feel abrupt and inconsistently handled, which further contributes to a sense of instability within the organization. Overall, while there are good people within the organization, the broader culture, customer impact, and leadership decisions have made it a difficult place to feel supported or to do your best work.
