Pros

50% product discount $7500 a year tuition reimbursement Sometimes they have a food truck

Cons

Bose is a chauvinistic boys club where only a select few are held in high esteem, usually through non work or non performance related and political means. Bose is a place where thinking outside the box is discouraged, management is not present, performance metrics do not exist, and women do not get the same opportunities as men. Decisions are made on a whim, rather than through data or financial analysis. Suppliers and CMs are horribly treated. Hubris will be the downfall of this organization. Bose believes that since it saw great success during the 80s, that they never need to change. Though their revenue may remain stable, their share of the market segment has drastically shrunk. Product development rehashes ideas, and the planning team does their sales forecast based on which way the wind is blowing. I once heard a director ask one of their managers to "hire a hot intern." The management team in the supply chain organization rank their employees as either butter knives or steak knives, which is demeaning. Bose does not know the meaning of the word collaboration. In my performance review one year, my manager at the time told me I did not have the personality to work in business. I am now a successful leader and manager at another company. Leaders in the organization routinely schedule meetings, or request you to do so, and then do not show up. Bose lays off entire departments at a time and somehow evade news recognition.

Cons

Lots of change all at once (but it is communicated - it is not a surprise)
