Best experience for me - not for everybody - Intern/Co-op BorgWarner Employee Review

Pros

In my department, I could not have had a better experience. I was given projects that a full-time engineer would take on - an unmatched level of responsibility for an intern at any company. 7-3:30 shift gives you the afternoon. Every employee reaches out to offer help and wishes you luck at the end of your rotation Pay for an intern is good, not great. Every full-time employee feels as though they are well-paid

Cons

No structured intern/co-op program so each person has a different experience. Other interns had little to no responsibility and took almost nothing from their experience. It depends a lot on who your manager is.
