Pros

Very good atmosphere to work in Very diverse as far as the people that are hired. The people that are hired at corp, warehouse and in Customer Service have to be the greatest bunch of people I have ever known. Patrick Byrne is an amazing person and very interesting to learn about. I also like the fact that he is not just a name, he wanders around and meets people, and he remembers who he meets. I will work at Overstock hopefully for years and years to come. It is AMAZING.... I wish the pay was a little better, but to be honest, I would work here for less.

Cons

The long hours during Q4... thats the only Con I can think of, but... they are well worth it.

Pros

Coworkers are my main reason for coming back daily, I'd hate to let them down.

Cons

Toxic ceo is more focused on being confrontational than productive. The consensus in his town hall meetings is to 'keep your head down, avoid direct eye contact, do not ask questions'. He's focusing on building the upper management team while regular layoffs of people who actually do the heavy lifting is reducing our actual output.
