Pros
I have worked at Best Practices, LLC for several years and have had a very positive experience. Working at Best Practices provides tremendous exposure to business research, management consulting, marketing, sales, and client relations - all with some of the largest and fastest growing healthcare and pharmaceutical companies in the world. Though challenging, this is definitely a job where younger associates can step in, learn the ropes, and thrive. Work hour expectations are quite reasonable, and management is often flexible in accommodating different employees and their life/work situations. Benefits and 401K are decent. Lots of great people as colleagues, with fun and collegial atmosphere. CEO is a dedicated and fair boss. Overall, a great place for someone to gain lots of experience in many different business areas. Self-starters and driven professionals will do very well.
Cons
The company uses a matrix job structure for some roles, which requires you to be disciplined in order to prioritize your time and effort. The company also specializes in the commercial side of the healthcare industry. Some may find it initially challenging to understand and work in this complex space, but there is a lot of support from more experienced staff.
