Pros
They have brand new KW t680 trucks and new great dane trailers but thats about where it ends.
Cons
Trucks are cut back so much that they will barely run/pull and literally spend more time in the shop than they do on the road! Dispatchers and upper management (including the owners) could not care less about the drivers and truck techs. They do nothing but lie to your face and never deliver ANYTHING that is promised! One example are the route bids which are supposed to be held every 6 months to keep drivers from getting burned out AND to give other drivers a shot at a good run. I worked there over 2.5 years and they only held the bids/ route selection one time!! They hire only experienced drivers but they do not want to pay for that experience. Starting pay for all drivers is $.34/mile regardless if you have 2 years or 20 years experience, which is extremely low considering there are companies that hire drivers fresh out of school at $.42/mile. Another con is that you only get 3 unpaid days per year if you need to take off work regardless of your time with the company and they do not roll over. Vacation is paid but they will only allow a max of 3 drivers to take vacation at any given time!! So if you want a particular week off, better request it at least 6 months in advance! The medical insurance they offer is mediocre at best, too many details to list but to sum it up they offer the insurance that is best for them, not their employees.
