Pros

Good products, Great Dealer network, Great field personnel - loved their job.

Cons

The over the top reviews on July 31st - that, in our opinion, is simply embarrassing. How much were people paid or promoted to write thirty 5 star reviews in one day??? You can dress a goat in a tuxedo...but its still a goat! The field people know what's required to try and turn the business around yet they are afraid to speak up now...or when they do, it doesn't make it past the VP. Their predecessors that did so with good intentions, were "eliminated". It still puzzles us that those that influence this good CEO are the same ones that brought a beautiful company to its knees by directing the previous 2 CEO's...and they are all still there??? Wake up Mr. CEO! - clearly you are you drinking their kool aid too.... I just heard that Canada, once the golden child of BM for decades (Not one dealer/employee I've talked to can understand, support why/what they did last year? some of the best people in the business were let go and replaced by ...incompetents?? how?) and an exemplary Brand model of sales and dealer support/alignment is going through a "market correction". Factually, at a high profile dealer event, a recently promoted manager infuriated his dealer "constituents" with an arrogance unheard of before that was so bad it was close to a physical engagement - this is the VP supported mentality towards its customers???

Pros

- great base pay for a sales job especially for industry - benefits are top notch - free lunches in field via company card - company suv - everyone is very helpful and friendly - small company feel but large company resources - can WFH if needed and not feel micromanaged by sales management - amount of vacation time given even for new hires

Cons

- can have some overnight travel depending on territory - not really seeing your team every day due to geography, so can feel “lonely” - a lot to learn at first (company processes). Especially if you don’t come from the paint industry.
