Pros

Corporate Ladder is clearly defined and easy to climb as long as you do what you're told. You have a career advisor, and mine was unbelievably amazing (although I think this was rare), and they help you do well and they are supposed to be communicating with you frequently. We had a guy make manager by 26 years old but he was very very good. If you are a social person you will do very well.

Cons

Your hourly wages will dip below minimum wage during April and October because Your Salary remains the same, there is no bonus, and there is no over-time. There is just this mentality there that it's expected you work in a sweatshop. Because of this, everyone looks and seems very unhappy. It's a revolving door. However if you can handle that you could be a millionaire by the time your 35 years old. You will however have no friends, may or may not develop a substance dependency, and your morals will be non-existent.

Pros

Compensation is OK. There are some really nice people in the organization to work with, but you have to find them.

Cons

If you are not part of the SWC "club" (company name prior to them joining BDO), good luck. Poor leadership!!! Practice lead talks to everyone like they are talking to a CEO, not relatable in most cases. No clear employee development plans. You are held accountable for things completely outside of your individual control. They stress incorporating AI into work strategy, but have no plan on what that looks like or how to do it and want everyone to formulate it because leadership has no roadmap. One has no control over where you want to take your career, yet you are expected to know everything, about everything. As a result, you become an expert of nothing! Work assigned rarely leverages skills, almost as if they throw darts to see who works on what.
