Pros

Beautiful office, sea view Friendly environment After work activities Private health insurance Meal allowance Employee stock plan Pension Plan Mentorship program Networking within the company

Cons

Autodesk-wide is much better than Barcelona hub Hub Management - Managers often hired externally rather than promoting high-potential employees (this results in taking people for their CV that have no understanding of Autodesk's business and bring little value) Call-center objectives rather than strategical (talk time versus to whom the sales rep speaks to), micromanagement Internal Politics - things are not the way the management says they are, favouritism Management encourages speaking up, but then the employee gets a tag 'negative' if addressing problems or doubts (lack of transparency, unfair quotas, compensation etc.) Limited opportunities to grow - not looking at employees as where they could be the best assets to the company when needing them at a particular spot Numbers reported by the sales rep and languages spoken matter more than person's expertise, field of study etc. Unclear quotas till mid-year (only 50% of the variable paid to the employee before the quotas are issued), unrealistic targets Demotivating compensation - overachievement dependent on the given territory, not individual performance, everybody has equal KPI not reflecting the respective markets Salary increases - very limited and not reflecting top performance No flexibility in work hours, no home office, low trust

Pros

Autodesk has, hands down, one of the warmest and most supportive corporate cultures I’ve ever experienced. From day one, people were welcoming, respectful, kind, and genuinely available to help. Even as a contract worker, I never felt like an outsider. I felt included, trusted, and treated like part of the team. The marketing team was an incredible group: collaborative, smart, generous with their time, and always willing to answer questions. Autodesk also has a true teaching culture. You never feel silly for asking questions, and there is a clear willingness across teams to help people learn, improve, and succeed. Operationally, the company was also impressively efficient. The technology, meeting tools, scheduling systems, and general workflows made it easy to connect with people, set appointments, collaborate, and keep work moving without unnecessary friction. Overall, Autodesk set the bar for what a healthy corporate culture can feel like: organized, human, respectful, inclusive, and genuinely collaborative. Pros: Warm culture, helpful people, strong tools and technology, respectful teams, inclusive environment, great marketing organization.

Cons

As a contractor, I only wish the experience had been longer.
