- There are still a few boomers in leadership roles, so there is a lot of politics and traditional leadership (loyalty and traditional Filo biases is favored over meritocracy). There's a lot of "it's who you know and not what you know".
- Some managers have no idea what they're doing and using their current role as a learning experience rather than a working / contributing experience.
- Job titles are super inflated. Skills and abilities are way below industry standards. I think this may be a result of internal hiring. Instead of hiring someone with the correct skills, they choose to hire people internally without proper training or transition into new role, resulting in poor skills and quality of work
