Pros
Pay/benefits are decent. Pharmacy is closed for major holidays. Working in a grocery store is infinitely better than a retail chain (no drive-through window and patients can grocery shop while waiting for RXs).
Cons
It is certainly a business focused on profit, not patients of the pharmacy. Excessive asks for vaccines, documented consultations, and working severely understaffed most days. Upper management feels shady and unclear when it comes to hiring pharmacists and changing workloads due to local pharmacy closures. Doubling script volume does NOT equal doubling staff.
