Pros
Decent benefits. Most coworkers are willing to help out, especially with basic questions.
Cons
Work/Life balance does not exist. As a recruiter you are on call 24/7. If you're sick, you must check in multiple times during the day to make sure you're not needed. If you're on vacation, don't forget to check your e-mails. Everything is an emergency according to management. An even bigger problem is the lack of training given to the recruiters. A 3 day training class almost a year into your job does not cut it. There are multiple systems to navigate and multiple sets of rules to follow. If you don't know what questions to ask you end up in violation of all kids of policies. It leaves everyone frustrated. The technology is also VERY behind. The computer systems are antiquated, and while upgrades are coming the roll-outs that have already happened have been disasters.
