Pros

Great people kept me at the company for a very long time despite being under paid and under valued. UK team very welcoming and supportive. lots of potential and talent to ensure growth good social life and positive work environment. SDR Management is outstanding 5* for them.

Cons

Toxic culture of bad hires weighing down top performers meant that even when you performed well the company as a majority didn't. top performer didn't survive the cull as I was cheaper to get rid of. good people restricted by appalling decision's and carrying the weight of under performers. under performers allowed to stay despite bringing literally nothing to the table. Product look and feel light years behind the competition. Even leaving the business is a pain. conference call mass redundancies put everyone on edge. short sighted execs who couldn't organize a meal let alone a business rewarded and promoted while the people below them suffer. you will never feel safe working for act-on. SKO canceled after whole company announcement sent out causing people to lose money on additional flights. US colleague started 2nd of January was let go 8th. by closing roseville they have stopped the heart beat and Act-on will be Act-Off soon.

Pros

Act-on has since been purchased, but my experience was very positive. They were the last standing marketing company to not be gobbled up by a larger corporation. The product was superior to Adobe/Salesforce/Oracle’s and engineering staff super-passionate.

Cons

Executive staff was mainly on a treadmill.

Pros

There are free snacks and sometimes lunch

Cons

Not a good place to work. Management don’t take feedback well and target people who give it.
