Accra Home Care in Minnetonka was hands down the worst employer I’ve ever worked for. The workload was completely unrealistic. We were constantly overworked and underpaid, and the staff turnover was so bad that every time someone quit, the rest of us had our caseloads multiplied overnight. At times it felt like we were doing the work of ten people just to keep things afloat.
Things got even worse after the company was bought out and stopped being a nonprofit. The focus shifted away from clients and employees and went straight to profit. Support declined, communication tanked, and overall morale crashed hard. It felt like the company was crumbling from the inside out and no one in leadership cared to fix it.
