Pros
1, Flexible Schedules 2. Nice parking lot 3. Friendly people 4. Nice gym
Cons
1. Disorganized staff, lack of communication when it comes to training for new duties that they pile on you. It seems that if you are efficient and quick, they just pile up more work for you. If you are slow and not efficient, they just let you hang out and do nothing at all. It seems that some people in the Payroll department were overwhelmed with work and others were just sitting there talking the whole day. 2. They don't have very good health benefits. You would think a company that specializes in Health Care, would give you affordable, good healthcare with no high deductibles. However, that is not the case. They don't have good options for health insurance, and many of the employees were verbal about this, when I was shopping for health Insurance. 3. They don't give you sick days. If you are sick, then you have to use your PTO. I think this is a terrible policy for your employees. I found a new job that offered both Sick Days and PTO. There is no reason to treat your employees like this. 4. AMN doesn't offer very good Tuition Reimbursement. My company offers a better Tuition Reimbursement program. $1,000 would barely cover my books. The Company I work for now offers 50% of the tuition after your first year of employment. 5. The location isn't very good unless you can afford to live there. They don't pay you enough to be able to rent a one bedroom apartment close enough to work, I call that underpaying your employees.
