Pros
One of the best QA tester pay you can get from a wide variety of companies. Very relax and fun environment. People are very friendly and you feel as though you would are home! Work performance is expected like in any other company, but the employee benefits and respect you get from piers and management is really great! The company just established itself in Montreal and will surely grow with the years to come. Montreal is shapping up to be a world leader in the video game business.
Cons
For certain people, being a QA tester on games is a dream job come true! For others well, its just work as usual. Testing the lastest games, giving feedback and finding bugs is really nice, but the work becomes repetitive and you don't always choose which project you will be on. Like in any company, the project you are on, might not be your favorite at the moment, but down the road, you will end up on something really nice. The pay could be higher, but like any testing job, Eidos offers more than the other companies out there. Overtime comes by in bulks, and is not expected by employees, but appreciated. Teamwork is nice, but like any other teamwork project in school or in business, some always have to pull more their own weight than others, which is frustrating for some.
