Pros

The main pros about ERM are: Generally good IT and equipment (except poor access to mobile emails for some reason). They do spend money on travel generally for visiting another office but this is often not required

Cons

Im not working in ERM that long but the following Cons I have noticed: Management at partner level are often abrupt and ignorant. I cannot believe the way Ive been spoken to by some partners in the business in a completely unprofessional way! Lies are told to get you in the door, things like promoting flexibility and saying you will be on a track to promotion etc. This all erodes as soon as you walk in the door. Major over emphasis on timesheets and billability. If they concentrated less on this and more on winning work and getting the job done the place would be more efficient. The rates are astronomical - far to high and this will hurt them in the future. Annual leave is very low Offices are very corporate and not very stylish
