Pros
I had a high degree of autonomy and real influence on the system architecture and technical decisions. Working on a fresh stack: Java 17/21, Spring Boot, Kafka. A meaningful code review process and a high level of technical call management.
Cons
Some business processes changed too dynamically, resulting in frequent refactorings. Documentation was sometimes outdated. There were many meetings and sometimes too little uninterrupted coding time.
