Terrible management. Managers are promoted based on the “good ole boy” system. My branch is going downhill very quickly due to our new manager being terrible at his job. He cuts corners on supplies and equipment to keep money flowing into his bonuses.

Have to constantly communicate with technicians and they can be negligent at work
You're the only person who manages customer relations, so there can be a lot of pressure
Work on weekends
You get a company truck, iPad and work phone. The hours are good usually.
Cons
The management is horrible. The owner is the sales manager and that’s where all the problems start. He is a micro manager to say the least. Miserable experience.

Critter Control takes good care of their employees through bonus programs, generous benefits, and intentional department managers. Management sets expectation for growth, invests into employees, and rewards well for hard work. This company well displays the picture of working as a team. I would - and have - recommend this company to friends.

Only a few paid holidays and PTO cannot be cashed out or banked.

Complaints from customers from which the tech had no power
Manager cares more about benefits of the company and doesn’t give clear concise instructions when asked.
The work is fun and you can make over 100k if you do your job right. District manager takes the time to get feedback and tries new ideas, doesn’t micromanage. Region staff checks in every couple of weeks. Overall I enjoy the job
They provide a company vehicle if you can consider that a "pro"
