1) Communication - There is a huge gap between Indian and Chinese team due to linguistic differences as well as culture differences.
2) Management - Management is lost and rude. They try and overcome problems but very slow in implementation - for example : a simple problem in tech which could have been affecting 20% business every day - it took them 45 days to resolve.
3) Culture : Chinese management will ensure that you dont get a good sleep any day , they will pressurize you to achieve some really unrealistic targets which automcatically becomes your KPI. You are being threatened to be FIRED almost every week.
4) SUPPORT : when you ask for support, you are told "we are a startup" , when you obviously cant achieve those targets , you are told "you underperformed, you need to be replaced"
5) INSENSITIVE : The chinese team do not understand or intend to build a culture which is sensitive and caring for the employees , for example , they dont have a medical insurance policy, even though everyone in the competition has it.
6) Poor Systems : You dont get your payslips, you dont get details of leaves or attendance, half day salary is deducted if you are login time is 1 minute late than 8 hours.
7) NO RECREATION : Forget team outing, picnics, learning seminars, e-learning. Even outdoor visits to business partners require multiple approvals and lot of questionings.
8) Salaries : they are credited every 5th of next month. in case it falls on a weekend, salaries are postponed for next working day.
9) BONUS : The most luring part is the bonus, which makes the offer very attractive. But it is completely based on your performances , which is subjective to the category and targets. The targets given to you are unrealistic and unachievable, SO FORGET THE BONUS.
