Cons
Everything else: -Managers incapable of managing people or products. Most were promoted based on tenure or 'stoke' rather than competence. -Toxic culture of management blaming lower level employees for their poor judgement and mistakes. -False promises of job growth and career advancement. Higher-ups and HR string employees along without ever acting on big talk. -Managers allowed to bully and intimidate employees who suggest improvements or changes to the status quo.
Incredible culture, great benefits, startup environment, rapidly growing, fairness in compensation, unlimited PTO, openness. free skis/board annually, hands-on with new algae-based technology, working to pave a post-petroleum future.
Cons
Wearing multiple hats, non-competitive pay, not yet profitable, high female-management turnover, a lot to learn from diverse projects within the company, not everyone is aligned with upper management's mindset.
