More Attitude versus Aptitude

Pros

Free cold and hot beverages, food trucks often invited on site to provide lunch to employees. Ping-pong table.

Cons

Good percentage of employees are from Celgene and the mantra is "that's how we did it at Celgene." Next layer of employees are friends and family--so the best and the brightest seem limited to just a handful. There is really no one taking the wheel and running the place. They are spending more money than they are bringing in via investors.

Pros

Most people, at least in TM are nice! Young people are taking over the job.

Cons

Company hid financials from everyone for too long. People worked more than a year and a half without a hint of being converted to FTEs. When the company finally converted a few people, a week later or so it announced a mass lay off of pretty much 90% of the workforce. Months before this, the CEO would announce the promotion of executives and higher ups by email to everyone like contractors (that have waited long to make a few mor dollars and get benefits) would even want to celebrate. The CEO is narcissistic, and probably a conservative. Makes no sense sometimes. Back in thanksgiving (just a bit prior) they laid off many people with NO notice. Then in a meeting the CEO suggested they were lazy people and bad workers. Meanwhile, many of them were amazing workers, some even doing more than several people that remained. Now, the company is going down, and they are trying to keep as many people as possible after announcing mass lay offs, but just to “finish the job”. This company will dispose of you at their will.

Terrible direction and senior leadership.

Pros

direct line management actually wants you to grow and succeed. Co-workers were great. There are some good people here. All the good management and co-workers were not there for more than 2-3 years. toxic management have been at the company for more than a decade. New management and other talent comes in only to be silenced and most of us have left. It’s unfortunate because the technology can be used as a successful platform for a business. If you are not a personal favorite you are at risk of being fired over anything.

Cons

Executive management (Director level and above) act like they are the gold standard for work ethic but use toxic communication and scare tactics to get want they want out of hard working employees. little to no communication for technical operations . Directors act like they work but they are barely in the office, constantly working from home or taking off. senior leadership has all been working together for last 10+ years and blame everything on new operators or each other. If you value your ethics and work life balance stay away from this company.
