Pros
Working hours were very flexible. Taking unpaid leave was flexible. Pay was average. Teammates were outstanding and working environment was overall positive. A lot of opportunity for over time.
Cons
Calian offers the minimum legal requirements. Regardless of how long you had been with the company Calian offered two weeks vacation with no sick leave. No health benefits were provided but you have the option to buy benefits. If you are laid off severance packages are given at the provincial minimum (after 5 years of service you are eligible for a severance package).
