Pros

Some very technically talented folks. Competitive pay and benefits.

Cons

Lack of alignment across the orgn (product/marketing) and in senior leaders. Since Jan 2019, strategic pivots every 3 months with no clear direction. Market managers (aka engagement mgrs) have little to no domain expertise in agriculture/business strategy, are poor communicators, and don't know how to play nice with the product teams. Since the mid- March 2019, bleeding the best talent/leaders every week.

Amazing Company Gone Bad

Pros

P Prior to firing the CEO and VP of Tech: Brilliant, passionate leaders and coworkers in an amazing well-principled environment where even the most junior contributor's ideas can rise to the top. Excellent professional development, with journal clubs, training courses, and regular cross-disciplinary learning opportunities. The best job I've ever had.

Cons

The leaders and talented colleagues are leaving in droves after management upheavals. Agile has been replaced with a waterfall in a dynamo, where every decision requires top-down approval but the decision changes on a daily basis. The company could be a poster child for Dilbert.
