Pros

Teamwork – Colleagues are generally supportive, people are willing to help each other. Job Stability – Steady work environment, warehouse operations are ongoing. Variety of Tasks – Exposure to different roles and responsibilities, which helps gain diverse experience. Physical Activity – Constant movement, not a desk-bound job; good if you prefer to stay active. Training / On-the-Job Learning – New starters get some guidance; you learn quickly by doing.

Cons

Physically Demanding – Long hours standing, lifting, and handling heavy loads can be exhausting. Pay / Rewards – Hourly rate could be better, and overtime compensation may not always feel fair. Management Communication – Sometimes instructions are unclear or frequently changing. Limited Progression – Career advancement opportunities beyond operator level can be limited. Shift Pattern / Flexibility – Rotating shifts and limited flexibility for personal life or holidays. Workload Balance – During peak times workload can be overwhelming, affecting work-life balance.

Pros

Good people - most average employees are pleasant people to talk to. Everything else is simply average - time, work amount and difficulty, other companies offer similar or better.

Cons

Horrendous management - some have power trips, some smile at you then stab you in the back. Out of touch masquerade. Focus more on useless things like DEI than on actually improving the quality of life for their workforce. Horrible pay - work to pay ratio is out of whack on some contracts. You get to work less if you sucked up to the right people or if you have a reputation of having a below average IQ. You’ll work a lot more if you prove to them that you’re very capable, but don’t expect any appreciation at all, just more work than others. Terrible favouritism - some people get preferential treatment, even if it’s detrimental to the company, simply because they sucked up to the right people. Widespread apathy - due to management being out of touch, their decisions resulted in apathy epidemic, since most ground floor employees don’t care about anything other than putting their hours in and getting paid, while management keeps pushing for commitment from employees.
