    Doesn't Recommend
    Negative Outlook
    No Opinion of CEO

I worked at Boots full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Competitive pay especially for students or young adults Vast amount of training Recognise trade unions unlike some chains Informative procedures

    Cons

    - Pharmacists sometimes use their authority as a pharmacist to argue or make points against you even if you don't work on the pharmacy counter - Micromanagement - the small periods of time which employees are timetabled on allow extreme micromanagement to happen. - Was made carry out duties that employees shouldn't be doing while they are on probation. - Very stressful job if you work on the pharmacy counter sometimes - Management pick and choose favourites - Zero feeling of trust from management to store colleagues - Unrealistic targets to be met everyday. If these are not met, management can make employees feel stressed. When targets are met, recognition is not given to employees who work hard. - Will not give you 100% training due to time issues but will still expect 110% and higher effort from you. - If you're not liked, you'll know about it shortly. - I didn't feel happy in the job
