Pros

Having come from various previous large corporate companies it has been beyond refreshing to land at Bloomfire. The executive team values new ideas and suggestions to streamline current processes as well as new suggestions on new applications that help drive success among the sales team. Although there has been some change w/in the structure of the sales team recently the executive team has been very transparent with why the changes were made and have been open and honest in welcoming any concerns or questions the organization has. They also encourage participation in surveys so that we are able to internally voice any concerns anonymously for those uncomfortable speaking up. Being my first remote role I was not sure what to expect in terms of company culture but Bloomfire does an amazing job in ensuring there is still team building via various remote (and in person for those local) Happy Hours, coffee buddies and get togethers. Bloomfire encourages remote workers to be apart of the Culture Club which helps plan different team building events. Overall it has been amazing to be apart of a company that encourages cross department collaboration and be apart of a company that listens and values the opinions of their employees. I am excited to be at Bloomfire and watch it grow.

Cons

I honestly don't have any.

Pros

-The culture club does a great job

Cons

-Management overextended their sales projection, and without warning completely dissolved the SDR team coming off 2 record-breaking months -Employees received no formal training, had high management turnover, and so many undefined processes in how to formally be an SDR -Through poor communication, mismanagement, and flat-out lies Bloomfire put on this illusion that they would be a great environment to work at, when in reality they showed us the door by pulling the carpet out from under us and had no remorse in doing so.

Thank you for your review, and we're happy you had a rewarding experience being part of Bloomfire's Culture Club. We strive to provide a positive work environment and our Culture Club plays an integral role in doing just that. We are an organization committed to our people and their growth. We've had overall employee headcount increase by almost 30% over the last 12 months and continue to implement new measures to set every team member up for success like our new hire onboarding program implemented in 2022 that has received 8.8/10 stars from internal employee surveys. While it is not uncommon for some turnover in a high growth business as it matures, our business decisions are not taken lightly and are made to ensure our efforts drive impact. We can always do better and apologize that we fell short of your expectations. Thank you again for taking the time to leave this review, and we wish you the best in your career.

Pros

In the beginning of my tenure, the company culture was A+: employee positive, transparent, and valued a work/life balance. The tech stack was interesting, react and ruby on rails. Some folks are trying to maintain that positive work culture.

Cons

After VC purchased the org almost 2 years ago things started to slowly shift towards its current state of stress, lack of leadership transparency, layoffs and overall poor work life experience. Cancelled health insurance benefits mid-month after submitting my notice and completing the standard 2 week notice but gave no warning insurance would not last until the end of the month.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience and feedback. We’re glad to hear that you found our company culture to be positive and transparent during the beginning of your tenure and appreciate the efforts of those who continue to strive to maintain a positive work culture. We are very sorry to hear about the negative changes you experienced near the end of your tenure. All health insurance benefits policies are established by our PEO provider and laid out in our company benefits handbook. Thank you again for your candid feedback. If you would like to discuss your concerns further, please feel free to reach out to us directly. Emily T HR at Bloomfire HR@bloomfire.com
