      Financial shambles, no respect or work/life balance

      Pros

      On the surface, an exciting application of artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), and natural language processing (NLP) in the life science industry. No major complaints about cash compensation (though compensation in terms of benefits like PTO is dubious).

      Cons

      The company is clearly in financial shambles. Multiple layoffs and at least 1 rescinded job offer. All handled very unprofessionally with a blunt email and no proper explanation. I get that tough business decisions need to be made sometimes, but that's really no way to treat people when their livelihood is on the line. A little respect goes a long way. Also, the "unlimited PTO" policy is just a veiled attempt to get out of the obligation to pay accrued PTO upon the end of employment. And what does PTO even mean when you're expected to bring your work laptop with you on vacation?

      Terrible CEO

      Pros

      Nice and helpful coworkers. Fair pay.

      Cons

      Micro managed. Impossible metrics to hit. Expected to work around the clock and be glued to your phone. Terrible CEO, leadership is not transparent about . Got laid off 6 weeks after hire via email without being offered a reason. Several other people were also let go from my team so I have to assume it was budgetary.

      Really Disappointed

      Other SDRs were so kind and helpful, made it enjoyable working there.

      Cons

      Got terminated THROUGH EMAIL after only being with them a couple of weeks along with two other people. They didn’t even bother letting us know why we were terminated. The audacity to just let us go like nothing is so not okay.
