Pros

I had to speak up as well after reading some of the fake reviews, especially (April 2016), that were obviously planted by HR. I resisted writing a review for a long time because I was in a much better place, and I didn't want to spend any more time or thought on BMS. I didn't want to think about nastiness that is BMS. I am writing now to my friends still at BMS and to those contemplating working at BMS and to finally get the poison from BMS out of my system once and for all.

Cons

The posts are true: Low Pay, Low Moral, Non Existent Training, Ignorant Management, Unethical Behavior, Nepotism, Favoritism, Discrimination, etc. The list will keep growing as long as the company is in existence. This company is stuck in the past, when they thought they were great. They do not want to change, and have made it very clear they won't. They know all about the terrible things that are happening AND THEY DON'T CARE. BMS likes the way the company is now. They are perfectly happy with the company because none of the above issues affect them. Low pay just means more money for them and since they never leave the third floor they could care less about how happy you are at your job. They directly benefit from nepotism and favoritism. Why should they care if there isn’t a training program? They don’t have to continuously train new employees because the good ones are gone. They will continue to make their money walking on the bloody backs of their employees until they sell the company and ride off into the West County sunset.

Pros

A great learning experience. Most US and European colleagues and managers were great professionals. The work environment used to be challenging and human

Cons

The pay is not only low but there is little room for improvement. Specially if you're not a favorite. The nepotism and office politics reign supreme. Technical and project manager level do all the job with incredible pressure, without support and Director level take the credit. The top management is under educated and don't even want to learn from their mistakes.

A Sinking Ship

Pros

Conveniently-located facility walking distance to Westport Plaza

Cons

Nepotism reigns supreme. The CEO, COO, & CMO are the sons of the founder. Most employees will tell you that only one of them seems to earn his pay. Positions are being eliminated left and right. Communication from the executive team isn't just low, it's non-existent. Morale is low, with no attempt being made to raise it. It seems like the executives are riding this ship out, collecting their salaries, while running the company into the ground. A big portion of the company was recently sold off, and we minions are speculating whether the rest of the company is next.

Pros

Work schedule flexibility, central location, some ability to work from home. The company has food trucks come sometimes. A company spirit week, with activities, and have fundraisers to help their charity.

Cons

Pay scale needs reviewing, this company does not pay well. Directors are laughable, especially in Imaging. The turnover is high and no one is asking why these people keep leaving. Nepotism is the worst here, family and friends work under their superior which is a huge problem, especially since the handbook states otherwise. Minimal to no training, Project managers have little to no experience in imaging or managing anything.
