Unrealistic expectations and demands were set by upper management, with very minimal training/support in return.
Pros
I enjoyed establishing positive rapport with our client base and learning each on a first name basis. I gained a lot of new work experience in a short amount of time since I was given so many different tasks.
Cons
I felt as though nothing any employee did, including myself, was ever good enough for upper management. There was no real training offered, no tangible support, and the store was constantly understaffed due to very high turnaround as well as how HR made it nearly impossible to hire any applicants in a reasonable amount of time or at all. Also, the pay is less than other rent to own companies in every available position. Also, the store was not provided with quality merchandise a lot of the time and not allowed to order new merchandise if goals were not met, so the store would at times look like an over-priced garage sale.
