Friendly colleagues, wages not too bad

Cons

Management are terrible, most promoted from within with zero training. Day to day running underhand, don't follow process or procedure. Allow bullying, lying, harassment. Issues covered up in house. No accessibility to HR. Very toxic environment.

None. Not a single pro of working here.

Cons

Very little training given, very little support. Blame culture when something goes wrong. Very few people are willing to take accountability for anything. Always cost cutting. No care for the people that work there.

Pros

Hybrid working, 2 days in 3 days out

Cons

- Pay is low for most roles, despite workload being high - Management do not spend time training you, but expect you to be constantly improving. - Despite the hybrid environment, there is a lack of flexibility if you are more junior. - The office is in a place with few transport links and local amenities. The canteen is long since closed. - There are no non-monetary incentives that matter.

Full training provided, great team to work with, competitive salary, no weekends, good holiday allowance.

Cons

Not so much a con but there aren't any team bonding exercises / events, not many opportunities for overtime.

Pros

Fair Compensation: The pay was reasonable for the work we were expected to do. This aspect of the job was satisfying, as the compensation felt appropriate for the effort and responsibilities required. Learning Opportunities: There were some opportunities to learn and grow, especially in the earlier stages of my time with the company. Alliance Healthcare provides training and development programs that can be beneficial for career growth.

Cons

Management Issues: A recent change in the management structure led to significant challenges. Many of the new managers lacked experience, which resulted in confusion and inefficiencies. This shift in leadership created an unstable work environment, and it was clear that the transition wasn't handled as smoothly as it could have been. Toxic Workplace Culture: Unfortunately, some individuals contributed to a toxic work environment. Despite these issues being reported to management, no meaningful action was taken, which allowed the negativity to persist. This lack of accountability made the work environment stressful and impacted overall morale.
