Pros

- Found many of the staff to be great and funny people, however if you don't laugh you will cry. - Evidently a good sales team.

Cons

- So much time is taken up trying to correct mistakes that have already been made by the company, often by people who are no longer there. - Very compartmentalised, with communication and cooperation lacking between departments. - Processes and procedures are badly defined. - Salaries often not reflective of responsibility and not standard for people doing identical roles. - Poor training and progression. 'Lunch and Learn' sessions introduced for development but how much can you actually learn from a short presentation? Just a placeholder in lieu of actual training. - Management unresponsive to concerns of most staff and will happily string you along with false promises. They are taking on more contracts despite being unable to fulfill current obligations, like a sinking ship taking on more water. - Company is bent over by and work in fear of BP.

Every Month You'll Die a Little Inside

Pros

Co-Workers: The majority of people you interact with are great. Work: It's slightly better than not having a job.

Cons

Communication: There's a distinct lack of it. The company is split across multiple buildings, none of which interact with one another. On the plus side this leads to long project delays meaning you'll keep your job for longer. Salary: You will be underpaid. Even after gaining considerable experience a pay rise will not happen. Progression: There is none. The corporate ladder is reserved for management and you will stay at the bottom of it. Management: They don't know how to run a business. The most senior level staff hide behind a facade they've built whilst in reality their reputation crumbles. Structure: There are no procedures to carry out this project. You will get no training and will end up wasting your time for 6 months before management decide to take another approach to the project. Parking: New members of staff have previously been told they can't use the company car park as it is full.
