Not Meant To Be A Career

Pros

Obtain relevant career and industry experience. Work with industry experts and a multitude of instrumentation.

Cons

Not meant to be a career in the sense that this company does not positively reinforce their employee's positive work ethic. This company pays the literal lowest wage in the industry. Very expensive benefits compared to what you get. It's a great place to get your foot into the industry's door but not meant to be a company you stay with for more than necessary.

Horrible Company!

Pros

Co-workers. There are no pros except nice co-workers. Zero pros! The Recruiters are awesome but the HR staff are snakes!

Cons

No policies, no structure, no onboarding, no training, executive management care about no one but themselves, no support, no positive reinforcement, no empowerment, horrible managers, do not value their employees, a culture of fear, the building is falling apart, turnover is higher than any company I have ever seen, and it looks like it is never ever going to change. Do not interview for a job with them & do not accept an offer- you will eventually regret it! Run!

Pros

-If you are contracted to a good company your job will be pretty alright. -very easy schedule to work with. -if you end up in a research position, you can learn a lot -Really, the only good thing about this job is the hours. The only reason i'm still here is i'm waiting for a position to open up somewhere else, the lab just isn't built yet.

Cons

-poor pay -terrible benefits (don't get sick, i got a letter in the mail the other day telling me not to go to the ER. vision is decent though. they also offer pet insurance, be nice if they just offered us better health insurance) -No growth or moving up -Core Company completely neglects you and does a lot of time patting themselves on the back -CEO once told someone who was complaining about something that "if he was unhappy, he should just quit." instead of addressing the issue. -Not even the sponsor company's respect ATL. and from what ive heard, alot of companys are about to drop ATL, so the job security isn't there. I want to start by saying. i have 5 years research experience. i have never been reprimanded. never fired. never had a talking to. I always get a golden review at the end of the year. i took this job because i thought it was a good opportunity. I don't want you to think i got in trob and i'm just angry. THis company is just ridiculous.
