Pros

Strong core product, lots of brand recognition, excellent people in many key positions.

Cons

NZ management has failed to address market needs for North America. US office succeeded in spite of the utter incompetence of the NZ senior leadership. Several C-level positions remain unfilled for over a year now. I have no confidence the Kiwi's will turn this around and properly serve the needs of NA customers.

Pros

North American office has really kind and understanding management. Your growth is really important to them. You have to really screw up to get fired, but you get rewarded with praise and promotion if you work hard and have the ability to grasp the esoteric product line and clients, so doing your job well is still important. Speaking candidly is encouraged, which is rare. Also, you can reach management in New Zealand any time and it's small enough that it's not weird to do so.

Cons

The vision for the future is a bit muddled currently, as investment was made in segments that aren't really taking off. The office is pretty terrible.

Pros

The pay is good for the area. Most of the entry level staff and administrators are great to work with.

Cons

Upper management is incompetent and forgetful. It is common to be assigned a directive and then get asked why you are doing said directive simply because management forget they assigned the task. Decisions are made on a "how-I-feel-when-I-wake-up" basis by upper management. That aside, management is down to the micro level. If you don't notice that morale is at a rock bottom during an interview then you are extremely thick. Several cusiness partners come for business visits and leave passing comments to lower level staff that they should "get out while they are young."
