Pros
Flexible scheduling and the opportunity to travel every spring for ACOFP's Annual Convention. Good opportunity to explore a new city and get overtime, all while getting to know your awesome coworkers. GREAT 401K match.
Cons
Little room for growth. Since it's a smaller association, they only need one person per position. However, they are willing to invest you in your learning/growth within your position.

ACOFP offers an exceptional (and flexible!) workplace environment, guided by an Executive Director who excels in leveraging a strengths-based approach. This strategy fosters a highly supportive and collaborative atmosphere, unparalleled in my professional experience. Although our staff team is compact, necessitating versatility and adaptability in roles, this dynamic offers a fulfilling professional journey. We get to (daily) wear a lot of hats which I find contributes significantly not only to the mission of the organization but also promotes personal and professional growth. There is also the opportunity to regularly engage with our members, who are so passionate about what they do, that you can't help but also be driven to support that work.
Cons
Because our staff team is small, opportunities for advancement in job titles might be somewhat limited, but the scope for skill enhancement and professional growth is not. Our environment encourages continuous learning and skill development.
