I have been working at Foot Locker full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great to interact with (mostly) friendly people all day, it really helps to have an interest in shoes, incl upcoming releases, limited releases etc. With a small number of staff it can be difficult to see a clear path of progression.

    Cons

minimum wage job with 30hours or less per week. 6 month probation period is a bit excessive for the renumeration. employee discounts are good, but again, being paid minimum wage doesn't allow for a huge disposable income. Even at 30% discounts

    Advice to Management

None, management are great. Especially in Limerick and Galway.

    Application

I applied in-person. I interviewed at Foot Locker (Dublin, Co. Dublin).

    Interview

They asked me a series of questions about previous employments and my experience in the sales field and in sales. In my view they are very biased to older aged people as they shrugged and showed no interest in me once they saw my age.
