Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic HR Manager with strong expertise in the Hotel, Retail, or QSR industry to lead and manage end-to-end Human Resource operations. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in bulk hiring, workforce management, employee engagement, compliance, and operational HR functions across multiple branches or outlets.
The candidate must have the ability to manage large-scale manpower operations while ensuring employee satisfaction, policy compliance, and organizational growth.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
- Manage end-to-end recruitment processes including sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection, and onboarding
- Handle strong bulk recruitment requirements for retail branches, hotel outlets, and operational teams
- Develop manpower planning strategies to ensure optimal staffing across locations
- Coordinate with department heads and operations teams to identify workforce requirements
- Build and maintain recruitment pipelines for operational and managerial roles
Employee Relations & Engagement
- Foster a positive, professional, and employee-friendly workplace culture
- Handle employee grievances, disciplinary matters, and conflict resolution confidentially and professionally
- Plan and execute employee engagement activities, retention initiatives, and recognition programs
- Improve employee morale and workplace communication across branches
Performance Management
- Implement and monitor performance appraisal systems
- Support department heads in setting KPIs and performance improvement plans
- Conduct regular performance reviews, feedback discussions, and evaluations
- Track productivity and workforce efficiency metrics
Training & Development
- Organize induction and onboarding programs for new employees
- Conduct training programs on:
- Customer Service
- Grooming & Workplace Etiquette
- Operational SOPs
- Workplace Discipline & Behavior
- Identify skill gaps and coordinate learning & development initiatives
Payroll & Attendance Management
- Supervise attendance, shift scheduling, leave management, and overtime tracking
- Coordinate with payroll teams to ensure accurate salary processing and statutory compliance
- Maintain employee records, HR databases, and confidential documentation accurately
HR Policies & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, statutory regulations, and company HR policies
- Maintain HR documentation including:
- Appointment Letters
- Contracts
- Warning Letters
- Employee Files
- Exit Documentation
- Implement policies related to safety, hygiene, workplace conduct, and ethics
- Handle audits, legal documentation, and compliance reporting
Operational HR Support
- Collaborate closely with operations and branch teams for smooth workforce management
- Monitor employee grooming, punctuality, attendance, and customer interaction standards
- Support branch/store/hotel managers in resolving manpower and operational challenges
- Ensure workforce discipline and SOP adherence across locations
Employee Retention & Exit Management
- Develop retention strategies to reduce attrition and improve employee satisfaction
- Conduct exit interviews and manage full & final settlement processes
- Analyze turnover trends and recommend corrective actions
Strategic HR Responsibilities
- Support management in implementing HR strategies aligned with business goals
- Prepare HR reports, analytics, MIS reports, and workforce insights for management review
- Contribute to organizational growth through effective people management and workforce planning
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Strong experience in Hotel, Retail, QSR, or F&B Industry
- Proven experience in handling 1000+ employees
- Expertise in bulk hiring and multi-location workforce management
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Good knowledge of labor laws, statutory compliance, and HR operations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced operational environment
