I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at playermaker (Tel Aviv-Yafo) in Feb 2025
Interview
The hiring manager was very polite, peasant and to the point. The process itself went very quickly. They shared a lot of information about the company, which helped to stay motivated.
The first two interviews were very nice and friendly, the home assignment was related to pure physics part and machine learning algorithms part, and afterwards a frontal meeting in the offices with the algo team lead (who had no team at the time...). The frontal meeting was scheduled to two hours about the home assignment, but although the team lead finished all the questions before time, he kept asking me questions just to be ghosting later on...He promised the hr will contact me for follow up interview, more than half year have passed and I'm still waiting. No need to say no one bothered to send rejection mail.

Interview
About a couple of weeks in total. Started off with a phone interview which was nice. Then a face to face interview with a marketing guy and the VP of product, both of whom were extremely nice and prepared for the interview. Then I did a home assignment which they loved. So far everything was going well. Then I got invited for a final interview with the COO. The man was called Yuval and spent half the interview on his phone and was not prepared at all and had no questions to ask me. It felt as if i'd wasted weeks and hours on an assignment when the man wasn't interested in the slightest. Somehow he said at the end of the interview he liked me and that HR will be in touch. Two weeks later and HR haven't been in touch and I received a text from the marketing guy saying they're not taking me in the end. Overall a big waste of time and little care about potential employees.
