      Solutions Architect Interview

      1 May 2024
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Munich, Bavaria
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at o9 Solutions (Munich, Bavaria) in Apr 2024

      Interview

There are three rounds : 1) Call with HR where they will discuss about the role and the company and check if your profile is aligned with job requirements 2) Call with Manager : They will check your knowledge on subject and kind and will check you experience with scenario based questions . 3) Technical round : Technical questions around profile. I have passed through each round but end of the day they said we are not opting anyone for this role and hence closing the job. It was extremely unprofessional As I took almost three days of leave to give the interview and prepare from it. If they know from starting that this is my profile and they gone through it completely and taken 3 rounds of interview to realize that job description does not match with my profile. In the start of the interview process only I have highlighted this point to HR, but they said its ok! The interview process is also extremely unstructured.

      Solution Architect Interview

      16 Mar 2023
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at o9 Solutions in Mar 2023

      Interview

I had one interview with the recruiter which lasted 40 min. The first 10 min was spent with the interviewer providing details about the company. The last 30 were spent with me answering the single question "tell me about your previous implementations". It was not conversational, and there were no follow up questions to any details I provided. With 15+ years of implementation experience, such an open ended question was difficult to answer (those most closely aligned w/position, most recent, all of them?). On top of not knowing this was the ONLY question I would be asked, I was wary of spending so much time restating details in my resume. Granted I should have noted the amount I'd have to cover and ask for clarification but seems like an inexperienced and/or thoughtless question. Perhaps this was by design.
