I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at iPatientCare (Ahmedabad) in Sept 2020
Interview
Got a call from HR for the AWS engineer position. After the initial discussion, the telephonic interview has been scheduled based on our availability. The telephonic interview lasted more than 30 min where I was asked about my project experience and multiple questions on AWS services related to the role. Stress was more on the security part of AWS as they were looking for an AWS engineer who worked on security services like WAF, AWS shield, etc. The third round is an assessment of 10 questions related to AWS. The final round is a discussion with the onsite lead where I was asked about my experience in the security side of AWS services. I was rejected as I haven't worked on AWS security services like WAF, Shield even though I have answered questions related to them.
HR didn't bother to call and inform about the final round update.
Had to connect with the onsite lead through LinkedIn to get the feedback. The reason for rejection is not having relevant experience.
